Open Mic

My friend Kyle had been asking me to play an open mic with him for quite some time. I mentioned awhile back that I could play the drums, but I kept telling him I was well out of practice, sucked, etc. Well, the other night we were all hanging out in a bar in Shibuya and there was an open mic going on but no one else was playing. Kyle and I decided to take the stage. He played and I bopped along to some Tragically Hip covers and some of his own songs. The audience was amused, but only for the sight of two Gaijin playing western songs I think. It was great fun! We both decided that we should head to this place again whenever we had a free wednesday night.
