Sometimes in my lessons, I ask Japanese folks about what they like to watch on TV. I always get blank stares. I think Japanese people are ashamed about their television programming, but honestly, watch the video. I found it entertaining and hilarious. My favourite part are the masks.

Dude, sometimes I read your blog at work because everything here is just so normal. I need some staggeringly weird moments and, since “staggeringly weird” is totally un-American I'm stealing some of your staggering weirdness. Consider it charity to those of us living in the western world.
I love this game show by the way. We have satellite here at the office and I figure, since we get the national news from Islamabad it would be reasonable to assume that we get ridiculous Japanese game shows. I’ll have to check it out over lunch... On second thought, I’ll have to check it out on the job. Why waste a perfectly good lunch hour doing something you could be getting paid for?!
